Among those star-kids suffering without hits in Telugu industry, this Daggubati hero is one big name. Here is his latest affair with Police, and this one is expected to give him some flying colors.

Police roles have always showered hits for senior Daggubati hero, Venkatesh. Most of the films where he played IPS roles are hits at Box Office, while there are some duds too. Young hunk hero Rana is also taking this lucky route from his 'Baabai' and is getting ready for a second stint with Police role. Earlier he has done an inspector role in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Department' that has bitten dust at Box Office. Reports have that Rana will act as a police inspector in his upcoming movie under writer BVS Ravi's direction.

On the flip side, Rana is playing a villain role for the first time in his career aside hero Prabhas in Rajamouli's next magnum opus 'Baahubali'. This is the first time for a Daggubati hero to go negative on screen. Wish him luck folks!

Rapper Baba Sehgal has already sung a few Telugu songs for films Gabbar Singh and Jalsa. He made a big news on Pawan Kalyan's birthday last year after he released the song 'Pawanism', an anthem on the power star. Now, he has crooned yet another Telugu song and this time it is for director Meher Ramesh upcoming action drama Shadow starring Venkatesh and Tapsee in the leads.

Elated singer Baba Sehgal took to his Twitter page to announce the news that he has sung a song for the movie Shadow for which SS Thaman has composed music. The rapper tweeted, "Sung the title song of 'Shadow' for the super hit team of Thaman and Meher Ramesh. Kudos to Thaman." Meanwhile, Meher Ramesh has also confirmed the news of the title track. The director took to his Twitter account to thank Baba Sehgal and SS Thaman for giving this wonderful song. He wrote, "Thanks for such a wonderful and powerful song..respect brother"by BABA sehgal:)Thaman's New age Sound "Shadow"song (sic)."

However, Shadow is produced by Paruchuri Kireeti and it features Venkatesh, Srikanth and Tapsee in the lead. It also stars Madhurima, MS Narayana, Naga Babu, Jayaprakash Reddy and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on April 5.
