The Celebrity Cricket League is currently on and the Telugu Warriors took a rash beating in the hands of the Karnataka Rhinos yesterday. But this year, the team has got one strong superstar presence in the form of Ram Charan. How much Charan will contribute as a player no one knows but here is another one.It is heard that the organizers are planning to field in Junior NTR as showpiece and for branding purpose. But sources say NTR doesn’t know much of cricket. Even the organizers are aware but then they believe his presence will give enough buildup and excitement for the crowds to come to the stadium.
The news is that Junior might be requested to be a part of the game and be seen on and off on the field. If he is not accepting for that then he would be asked to just spend some time in the dugout like how Bollywood star Salman Khan is doing for his team. It will be interesting to see if the young tiger will oblige or not.
