Gabbar Singh 2 will be rolling from August. Pawan Kalyan has okayed the film. It was declared officially. What is more, Pawan Kalyan himself would produce it on his Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner.Gabbar Singh, a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg, was directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh. Interestingly, the sequel is not going to be produced by Bandla Ganesh, instead the star came forward to produce himself. Why? Well, Pawan Kalyan was miffed with Bandla's behavior after the release of Gabbar Singh. Since then, they are not on good terms. It is also not clear who would direct this sequel but Pawan Kalyan may entrust the job to Harish Shankar, who directed Gabbar Singh. Story for this sequel is reportedly prepared by the power star himself.
Gabbar Singh ended Pawan Kalyan's lean phase. Not only had the film gone on to become one of the biggest hits of all time, it also increased Pawan's popularity further. Pawan Kalyan is currently acting under the direction of Trivikram and the movie will hit the screens in August. So, Powerstar will commence his work for Gabbar Singh 2 after the release of Tivikram's film.
