Yesteryear actress Revathi was granted divorce by the Additional Family court on April 22nd. It is known that Revathi and her husband Suresh Menon had approached the court in October last year to seek mutual separation. The judgement was passed after couple of hearings which were attended by the couple.Apparently, Revathi and Suresh Menon had fallen in love when they first met on a shooting location and tied the knot in 1988. However, everything didn't work as they expected and the love birds have chosen to part ways.
Revathi made her onscreen debut with the Tamil flick 'Mann Vaasanai' in the year 1983. She is one of the leading heroines down South at one point of time. Apart from few Hindi films, she acted in several Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. Till date, she has been part of over 150 projects and also won National award for his directorial debut.
